All Karewear hardhat liner outer shells are made with Durable Flame Retardant fabrics that are manufactured right here in the USA. Durable Flame Retardant means that the fabric has been chemically altered so that no amount of washing or laundering will remove the flame retardant quality of the material. Most imported fabrics are treated by spraying flame retardant chemicals on the fabric. Therefore, they cannot be washed or laundered with out losing the flame retardant feature. Karewear Hardhat Liners are also dielectric (no metal parts.) One size fits all.
